This is an example of output from the show storm-control command for a specified interface and traffic
type, where no storm control threshold has been set for that traffic type on the specified interface.

Description
Displays the ID of the interface.
Displays the status of the filter:
Blocking—Storm control is enabled, and a storm has occurred.
Forwarding—Storm control is enabled, and no storms have occurred.
Inactive—Storm control is disabled.
Displays the threshold level set on the interface for broadcast traffic.
Displays the bandwidth utilization of broadcast traffic as a percentage of
total available bandwidth. This field is only valid when storm control is
enabled.
Note
N/A is displayed for interfaces that do storm control in hardware.
