GARMIN CONNEXT DATA LINK LIGHTNING
The Garmin Connext Data Link Lightning (DL LTNG) weather product (Figure 6-72) shows the approximate
location of cloud-to-ground lightning strikes. A strike icon represents a strike that has occurred within a two-
kilometer region. Neither cloud-to-cloud nor the exact location of the lightning strike is displayed.
Displaying Garmin Connext Data Link Lightning information:
1) Press the MAP Softkey (for the PFD Inset Map, select the INSET Softkey). This step is not necessary on the
Weather Data Link (GFDS) Page.
2) Press the DL LTNG Softkey.
To display the Garmin Connext Data Link Lightning legend on the Weather Data Link (GFDS) Page (Figure
6-73), select the LEGEND Softkey when the product is selected for display.
