Network attack notification By default the application informs you every
time when an attempt is made to attack your computer. A message will be
displayed on the screen (see Figure 23) to inform you what kind of attacks
was attempted, from which IP address it was attempted and to which local
port (if it was possible to determine this). Since this notification is provided
for reference purpose only, you can disable this feature by unchecking the
Notify user about network attacks box, but the information about
attacks will still be registered in the reports.
Blocking of the attacking computer. Kaspersky Anti-Virus can block all
computers from which an attempted attack was launched. By default
blocking of the attacking computer was disabled. If you decide to enable
this mode, the default blocking time will be 60 minutes. During this time
any packages sent from the attacking computer to your computer will be
blocked. In order to change the blocking time, check the corresponding
value for the Block the attacking computer for (min.) In order to disable
the blocking mode, uncheck the box next to this setting.
