You can configure restrictions to be imposed to the on-demand scan in order to
save the battery (if you are using a notebook computer) and the operating
systems' resources (details see section 5.10.6 on page 117) on the Efficiency
tab (see Figure 59).
The Security tab (see Figure 61) contains the following settings:
Launch Kaspersky Anti-Virus at the system startup – enable
Kaspersky Anti-Virus launch after the operating system startup.
Use recovery after errors system – enable Kaspersky Anti-Virus
operation recovery system in case of a failure during its operation. If an
error occurred during the operation of the application, then the main

The Efficiency tab
We strongly recommend that you do not disable Kaspersky
Anti-Virus as this may result in a virus infection of your
computer.
You will not have access to this setting if you do not have the
administrator's rights for this computer.
