Delete – deletes an object. If you select this action for an object, a copy of
it will be created and stored in the backup storage. You may use the copy
to restore the file or send it for examination to Kaspersky Lab.
5.2.3. Scanning Microsoft Office Outlook

Microsoft Office Outlook mail is scanned via a special module integrated into
Microsoft Office Outlook. It is designed to scan all incoming mail (messages and
attachments) before reading, and outgoing mail before dispatch.
In order to open the e-mail scanning window select Tools → Options... from the
main menu of Microsoft Office Outlook. In the Options window switch to the
Kaspersky Anti-Virus tab (see Figure 20).
The Status section displays the status of the e-mail scanning module. The
following messages are possible depending upon its condition:
Scan of incoming and outgoing mail is enabled. This message appears
when Kaspersky Anti-Virus is running and Microsoft Office Outlook scan
feature is enabled.
Scan of incoming mail is enabled. This message appears when only
incoming messages scanning is enabled.
Scan of outgoing mail is enabled. This message appears when only
outgoing messages scanning is enabled.
Email scan is disabled. This message appears when incoming and
outgoing messages scan for Microsoft Office Outlook is disabled or if
Kaspersky Anti-Virus is not running.
