6.2.2.6. Scanning e-mail messages

Policy settings for real-time mail protection are applied only on the
computers on which this component is installed.
On the E-mail tab (see Figure 78), you can specify policy settings for scanning
incoming and outgoing e-mail messages. Selection of the protection level and
switching to the fine-tuning options are similar to those of the On-demand scan
tab (see section 6.2.2.2 on page 130).
You can specify the type of action to be performed when an infected or
suspicious object is detected in the Actions to be performed with detected
objects section (details about the type of actions performed by Kaspersky Anti-
Virus in the on-demand scan mode, see section 5.2.2.2 on page 62).
