6.4.1. Viewing information about the
application
In the General tab (see Figure 100) you can examine general information about
the application (Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations); start or
stop its operation.

The upper portion of the window displays the title of the installed application, its
version, date of installation, its status (whether the application is running or
stopped on a local computer) as well as the information about the condition of
the anti-virus databases.
You can start / stop application activity using the corresponding buttons.
Using the Plug-in information button you can view general information about
the Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstation administration plug-in
(see Figure 101)
