about the type of the attack, IP address of the attacking computer and the local
port (if possible).
Network attacks protection settings are configured on the Network tab of the
Real-time protection settings dialog box (see Figure 24).
Enabling/disabling the real-time protection from the Kaspersky Anti-Virus right-
click menu (see section 5.2 on page 51) in the system tray also disables network
attacks protection.
If you would like to disable the network attacks protection only without disabling
other real-time protection tasks, uncheck the Enable real-time protection
against network attacks (see Figure 24). Enabling/disabling of protection will
require a computer restart.
You can define the following settings for Kaspersky Anti-Virus operation in the
real-time network protection:
Stealth mode: This mode allows only network activities initiated by the
user or by an application installed on the user's computer, while all other
activities (remote connection to your computer, etc.) will be prohibited.
This means that your computer becomes virtually "invisible" for its
external environment. Additionally, the invisible mode helps prevent any
type of DoS (Denial of service) attacks. At the same time, the invisible
mode has no adverse effect on your internet speed: Kaspersky Anti-Virus
allows all network activities initiated by you.
By default the invisible mode is disabled. In order to enable it, check the
Use stealth mode box.

Attention! Note that the invisible mode does not protect your
computer against trojans!
