Storing the Print File

Use this function to store a file in the machine, and then print it from the com-
puter or the machine's control panel later.
Limitation
❒ If data from PostScript3 printer driver is stored in the machine using [Store
File], when printing from the machine, it is possible that the data will not print
in the intended direction. For details, see PostScript3.

Display the data to be printed.

On the [File] menu, click [Print...].
The [Print] dialog box appears.

From [Name:], select the printer.

Click [Properties].
The [Properties] dialog box appears.

In the [Job type:] menu on the [Print Settings] tab, select [Store File].

If you want to set [User name:], [File name:],and [Password:], click [Details...].
The [Details...] dialog box appears.

Set [User name:], [File name:], and [Password:].

Click [OK].
The screen returns to the [Properties] dialog box.

Click [OK].
The screen returns to the [Print] dialog box.
