Confirming the Connection
A
Make sure the LED of the IEEE 802.11b card is lit.
❖ When using in infrastructure mode

If [LAN Type] on the [Interface Set-
tings]/[Network] screen is not set to
[IEEE 802.11b], this LED does not
light, even if the main power is on.
❖ When using in ad hoc mode/802.11 ad hoc mode
1.
If the IEEE 802.11b card is work-
ing, the LED is orange.

If the printer is connected proper-
ly to the network, the LED will be
green in infrastructure mode. If the
LED is blinking, the printer is
searching for devices.
