Removing engine coolant

– Remove front fairing panel
– Remove left sill panel
– Remove top and left tunnel panels
– Remove left side trim panel
– Remove knee pad

– Drain coolant from return lines (

Remove fastener (arrows) from front frame
•
Release hose clamps (1) with pliers,
BMW No. 17 5 500
•
Remove fasteners (arrows) from frame
•
Release hose clamps (1) with pliers,
BMW No. 17 5 500
•
Disconnect coolant hoses from coolant pipe
•
Pull coolant pipe forward to remove

Installing coolant pipes

Attention:
Always make sure that hose clamps are correctly
positioned in order to ensure easy access whenever
necessary.
Make sure the hoses are routed well away from any

and top up if necessary
