We use the ZyWALL 2 menus in this guide as an example. The SMT menus for your model may vary
slightly for different ZyWALL models.
The following figure gives you an example overview of the various SMT menu screens for your ZyWALL 2.

Table 21-2 Main Menu Summary
Use this menu to set up dynamic DNS and administrative information.
Use this menu to clone a MAC address from a computer on your LAN and
configure the backup WAN dial-up connection.
Use this menu to apply LAN filters, configure LAN DHCP and TCP/IP
settings and configure the wireless LAN port (ZyWALL 2WE only).
Configure your Internet Access setup (Internet address, gateway, login,
etc.) with this menu.
Use this menu to configure detailed remote node settings (your ISP is
also a remote node) as well as apply WAN filters.
Configure IP static routes in this menu.
Use this menu to configure Network Address Translation.
Configure filters, activate/deactivate the firewall and view the firewall log.
Use this menu to configure SNMP-related parameters.
Change your password in this menu (recommended).
From displaying system status to uploading firmware, this menu provides
comprehensive system maintenance.
Use this menu to schedule outgoing calls.
Use this menu to configure and maintain a VPN connection.
Use this menu to exit (necessary for remote configuration).
