Overview of Night Service
Setting the Tenancy Area Ratio
Linking a User to an Area
Programming Manual
INDeX 9.1
The INDeX is divided into areas. Each area is linked to one of the INDeX's eight
night service timetables.
Each User and Call Control Plan is associated with an area. They then go in and
out of night service following setting of the night service timetable to which they are
is linked.
– Call Control Plans :
During night service, incoming calls use the night dispositions and night
announcer plan settings rather than the day dispositions and day
announcer plan (see "Incoming Call Routing (Dispositions)" on page 43).
– Users :
During night service, users switch from their day-time outdialling class of
service settings to their Night-time outdialling class of service settings (see
"Outgoing Call Controls" on page 64). This affects which ARS route lists,
and thus which external calls, the user to dial.
– System Manager Stations :
Users with their Type set to System manager can put areas into night
service independent of the night service timetables (see page 65).
Four ratios of tenants to areas exist, each dividing the INDeX into 250. The ratios
are:
– 250 areas only (i.e.. all device are in the same single tenancy)
– 10 tenancies and 25 areas.
– 25 tenancies and 10 areas.
– 250 tenancies only (i.e.. all users and call control plans belong to the same
area).
