Changing a Route List

Before entering or editing a list, the nodes and translations processes to which you
wish to route calls must already exist.
Routes from a route list :
– Apply a translation.
– Prefix with network node number.
– Send untranslated over network.
– Apply translation over network.
– Send digits as dialled.
To add a route list :
1. From the Administration menu, select Automatic Route Selection.
2. Select Route Lists and enter the list number.
3. To change the route lists name select Name and enter a name of up to 15
characters.
4. To change the route lists call type, used by SMDR reports, select Call type.
5. To alter which user classes can use the route list, select Permitted user class
and enter the class you want to add or remove.
6. Use the up and down cursor keys to select a route in the list. The currently
selected route is shown by the => symbol.
7. To add a new route before the currently selected route, select Insert route and
then enter the route settings using the menu displayed.
– Select String Processing to set whether a translation or any other action
should be applied to the dialled digits before the call is routed to the
network routing table or off-switch.
– Select Line group to set which trunk or set of trunks should be used to
route the call. Entering a blank value sets this to User which uses the user's
Line access setting.
– Select Minimum access level and set the access level required for user's
to use the route and any subsequent routes.
– Select Wait access level and set the access level required for user's to use
the next route without waiting for the Busy Wait Time setting.
– Select Busy Wait Time to set the delay for user's who have to wait before
using the next route in the route list.
8. To change the currently selected route, select Modify route and then enter the
new route settings using the menu displayed (the same as inserting a new
route).
9. To remove the currently selected route, select Remove route.
10. To clear the whole route list select Clear the route list.
