Average life is based on an average of 5 percent coverage of the printable area for any one
color using laser paper. The frequency of replacement varies, depending on the
complexity of the prints, the percentage of coverage, and the type of media.
Transparencies, glossy coated paper, and other specialty media results in shortened
consumable life. Color printing is based on four images (one each of cyan, magenta,
yellow, and black) per page side.
