5. Remove the battery.
Cleaning the 12V Battery
Clean the battery casing and battery posts using a
soft brush and a solution of baking soda and water.
Remove corrosion from battery cable terminals and
battery posts using a firm wire brush.
Rinse with clear water then dry well.

Charging the 12V Battery
Use any automotive type battery charger. Always refer
to the battery charger manufacturer's instructions.
Installing the 12V Battery
NOTICE
Battery BLACK ( – ) cable must always be
disconnected first and connected last.
The installation is the reverse of the removal proce-
dure. Tighten to the specified torque.
