The oil level must reach the threaded hole.
If the level is correct, reinstall the check plug to the
specified torque.

Draining the Chaincase Oil
1. Place the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Place a drain pan under the chaincase drain plug
area.
3. Remove the filler cap.
4. Remove the drain plug located at the bottom of
the chaincase.
