ASSIGNING USER FUNCTION KEYS

You can program each of the User
Function keys ({F1}–{F4}) with a
function that you use frequently.
When you wish to use that function,
instead of having to search through
several menus to find it, just press the
appropriate User Function key. This
procedure can be used to edit, delete
or change the contents of the User
Function keys.
Note
At default the following functions
are programmed by default.

Storing/Editing the Contents
of a User Function Key
A
Make sure that the machine is in
Facsimile mode and the standby
display is shown.
Note
If the standby display is not
shown, press the {Fax} key.

Press the { { { { User Tools/Counter} } } } key.
C
Enter the number of the "Fax".
The Facsimile User Tool main
menu appears.

tings manual.

Enter the function number for
"User Functions" using the num-
ber keys.
E
Press the User Function key you
want to use.
Note
If you make a mistake, press
Cancel and press the correct
key.
You can press [Status] to see
how the User Function keys are
currently programmed.

Enter the function number you
want to register into the User
