Changing the Auto Power-off Time

If no key is pressed for a certain period of time when the copier is in the Ready mode or the
Energy Saver mode, it will automatically turn off. This is called the Auto Power-off function.
IMPORTANT
When the copier's power is turned off by the Auto Power-off function, scanned texture patterns and
scans of text originals made for copying using the Character Composition function are lost.
Such settings stored in mode memory or the memory of the Recall key are also lost.
NOTE
The default setting is "1 hrs"..

Display the required screen as follows:
(Additional Functions) → [Timer Settings] → [Auto Power-Off Time]
Press

Enter the desired time period using [-] and [+]; then press [OK].
The Auto Power-off Time settings are from 1 to 4 hours (in 1-hour increments).
Pressing [No Settings] will turn off the Auto Power-off function.
NOTE
If "No Settings" is currently selected, you must first press [No Settings] once to release it from that
setting before pressing [-] and [+] to specify the time.
