Parts and Their Functions

Bin Shift key
Each time you press
shifted one level up or down. If you keep pressing
or , the bins will continue shifting up or
down.

Staple Position key
Press to select the position of the stapling when
Manual Stapling or Insert Stapling is specified.

Stapling Start/Stop key
Press to begin manual stapling or manual insert
stapling. Pressing this key while stapling is being
carried out will interrupt the stapling process.

Load Staples indicator
This indicator lights when the stapler runs out of
staples.

Buffer pass unit release handle
Grip this handle to pull the stapler sorter and the
buffer pass unit away from the main unit.

The buffer pass unit functions to straighten curls
on copies.
