If there is unusual noise or smoke, immediately turn the power switch off, unplug the
power cord from the outlet, then call your service representative. Using the copier in
this state may cause a fire or an electric shock. Also, avoid placing objects around the
plug so that the copier can be unplugged whenever necessary.

Do not turn the power switch off or open the front doors while the copier is in
operation. This might result in paper jams.
Do not use flammable sprays such as spray glue near the copier. There is a danger of
ignition.
The copier generates ozone while it is in use. However, the amount generated is not
enough to affect the human body. Nevertheless, fumes may be an annoyance if you
make a large amount of copies or use the copier for an extended period of time in a
poorly ventilated room. It is recommended that you ventilate the room to make the
working environment as comfortable as possible.
