Original separation lever
This lever keeps the copied and uncopied
originals separate in the original tray.

Original set indicator
Lights when originals are placed in the original
tray.

Original auxiliary tray
Flip this tray open to accommodate A3- and A4R-
size originals.
CAUTION
•
Do not insert your fingers into the gaps around the original tray as your fingers may get
caught. Also, be careful not to drop objects such as clips into the gaps.
IMPORTANT
•
When using the platen glass to copy thick originals such as books, do not press down hard on the
feeder.
