FineLine 170HD Plasma System
6.5 Software/Firmware Updates
Obtain the FineLine Service Installer (FLSI.exe).
Move FLSI.exe to the HMI (CNC Controller or Industrial PC) where CutLinc Server
and FineLine UI are currently installed.
Using File Explorer, right-click on FLSI.exe and choose "Run as administrator."
Follow the prompts to finish the installation and launch the FineLine Service
Installer.
VMD Update is show in this example. Depending upon
the Installation Type selected in Step 5, the following
updates are available instead:

Select the Installation
Type that matches the
System.
Only select Desktop
(Stand Alone) for non-
Lincoln Electric HMIs.
Select CutLinc Update.
The icon is green when
installation is complete.
Select the Power Supply
model that matches the
System (FL300 Update,
FL170 Update, etc.). The
icon is green when
installation is complete.
Refer to Section 6.5.1 if
update is not successful.
Select VMD Update,
Burny Update, or
Desktop Application
Update. The icon is green
when installation is
complete.
Close the FineLine
Service Installer. Restart
the HMI and Power
Supply.
