3.17 Software Installation

3.17.1 CutLinc Server
Installation
If the System uses a non-Lincoln Electric HMI (CNC Controller or Industrial
Computer), the CutLinc Server must be installed. This is not required when using a
Lincoln Electric provided HMI.
Contact Factory for FineLine Service Installer and then follow Section 6.5.
Manual Start
CutLinc Server should automatically start each time the HMI is rebooted; however,
to manually start CutLinc Server, run file:
C: > Program Files > Lincoln Electric > CLFServer > CLFSserver.exe
Alternate IP Addresses
When not using DHCP, the following alternate IP addresses will be assigned by
default after the timeout period shown:

180 seconds
10 seconds
~60 seconds
10 seconds
* Must be assigned manually. See instructions below.
The subnet mask is 255.255.255.0.
To manually assign the alternate IP Address for the HMI:
