possibly also start blinking. In the above screenshot, only two shared call appearances have been
defined for the handset. The first is in an active call but the handset is not part of it, indicated by the
red color, and the second is idle (grey).
The possible colors and blink modes for the LEDs and their respective meanings are as follows:
Off: No shared line is assigned to this LED.
Steady grey: The line is idle.
Fast blinking green: Alerting (an incoming call on the line).
Steady green: A call is active on the line and the handset is participating in the call.
Slow blinking green: A call that the handset is participating in is on hold.
Steady red: A call is active on the line and the handset is not participating in the call.
Slow blinking red: A call that the handset is not participating in is on hold.
The extended status bar is displayed on the idle screen (above) and also on the dial screen, the line
selector screen and the call screen (below)

8.2 Shared Line Selection

From the viewpoint of a single handset shared lines behave just like regular (or private) lines, and as
such they can also be used for originating calls.
The shared lines simply show up in the line selector screen together with the regular lines, displayed
with the names that the administrator has given them.
