NOTE
• Be careful not to remove the Transfer Belt Unit without releasing the black Secondary
Image Transfer lock lever (2 locations) as this will damage it.

<Reinstallation Procedure>
NOTE
• When installing the Transfer Belt Unit, be careful not to get fingerprints on the Image
Transfer Belt or Secondary Image Transfer Roller, as this may cause image quality prob-
lems.
1. Remove the Transfer Belt Unit from its packaging.
17. Release the green Synchronozing Roller lock
lever (2 locations).
18. Release the black Secondary Image Transfer lock
lever (2 locations) and the green Secondary
Image Transfer lock lever (2 locations).
19. Hold the left and right knobs and slide out the
Transfer Belt Unit approximately 25 cm.
20. Grasp the handles (in two places) in the center of
the Transfer Belt Unit and raise the unit slightly to
remove it.
