54 Nortel WLAN Location Engine 2340 Dashboard
In the Server Address, enter the URL of the Nortel WLE2340 UI or Platform Web UI through a browser. DNS can be
established for the WLE2340 for the dashboard to connect successfully. The DNS entry used can correspond to the name
specified in the 'Configure Networking' page of the Nortel WLAN Location Engine Administration UI.
Example: For connections to a Nortel WLE2340:

Enter the Username and Password.

Click Connect. The Initializing Server Connection wizard appears. During the connection process,
information about the devices, locales, and networks being tracked by the Nortel WLAN Location Engine
is loaded into the Dashboard.

Click plus sign (+) to expand the hierarchy. Following options are available:
Layouts - Shows all the layouts, you have created previously with the Dashboard. A layout is a
floor plan (map), on which the Dashboard depicts live views of network coverage, device
location, and Access Point associations
Locales - Shows the locales tracked by the server.
