Port Commands

Port-related commands allow you to configure a port, the protocol running on the
port, and the corresponding protocol parameters. In addition, commands are
available for clearing statistical counters, enabling or disabling ports, and
displaying port configuration and statistics.
There are two modes of operation when you set a port:
The Advanced Mode displays detailed prompts, allowing you to configure all
parameters.
The Express Mode assumes default values for most parameters, and therefore
displays a minimal number of prompts.
The router defaults to the Express Mode. Press [Ctrl] + E to switch between
Express Mode and Advanced Mode.
