Description
Enter a name for this VPN tunnel.
Select the direction of the call in the tunnel. Select from:
Incoming Only – Select this direction if the remote site will always initiate the
connection to the router.
Outgoing Only – Select this direction if the router will always initiate the
connection to the remote site.
Both – Select this direction if both the remote site and the router will initiate the
connection.The default setting is Both.
Enter the IP address of a destination workstation on a network reachable through
this connection.
This field is displayed when you set Call Direction to Outgoing Only or Both.
Enter the name that the remote system uses to recognize your network. This field is
case sensitive, so nortel is not the same as Nortel or NORTEL.
remote site does not require tunnel authentication, leave this field blank. This field is
case sensitive, so nortel is not the same as Nortel or NORTEL.
NOTE: The remote site must be configured with your System Name (and System
Password, if used).
Enter the system name of the remote network that is dialing in. This field is case
sensitive, so nortel is not the same as Nortel or NORTEL.
Enter the password the router will use to authenticate the remote system. If your
system does require tunnel authentication, leave this field blank. This field is case
sensitive, so nortel is not the same as Nortel or NORTEL.
