Branch-to-Branch Access

You can create a private wide area network (WAN) using two or more BayStack
820 ISDN Routers and enable two or more remote networks to connect to one
another to share resources.

Note: If the remote network uses an ISDN router from another vendor, the
router must support LAN-to-LAN communications.

Conventional Telephone Calls Over ISDN

You can connect telephone or fax devices to the two voice ports on the router and
place a conventional voice call over a Public Switched Telephone Network
(PSTN) by dialing a regular telephone number. The call is established over a
single ISDN B channel and, if applicable, incurs the same kind of charges as a
regular phone call.
You can also configure convenient speeddial shortcuts to place phone calls in a
seamless manner.
