Specifying FDL Performance Messages Sent to Another Device
You can specify the source of send performance messages (either subscriber or
carrier) for the Versalar 15000. To do so, go to the T1 or FT1 prompt (for example,
t1/2/1/4
send-prm-cr-address-bit prm-{ci
(the default setting) specifies the customer installation (CI) as the source of
ci
PRMs.

The following example shows how to specify the carrier as the source of PRMs
over FT1 channel 5, slot 2, connector 1:

You can specify whether a T1 or FT1 channel accepts PRMs from the subscriber
or the carrier. If the software receives a performance message on a channel from a
source other than the one for which it is configured, it discards the PRM.
Go to the T1 or FT1 prompt (for example,
following command:
accept-prm-cr-address-bit prm-{ci
(the default setting) accepts PRMs from the subscriber.

The following example shows how to set FT1 channel 5, slot 2, connector 1 to
accept PRMs from the carrier:
