Configuration Examples

This section provides examples of packet capture configurations.
Example 1
To start and stop packet capture, enter the following commands:
capture-state start
capture-state stop
Example 2
To configure a termination trigger for incoming and outgoing packets, enter the
following commands:
rx-trigger <-- incoming
tx-trigger <-- outgoing
Examples 3 through 6 are based on setting a Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) packet
for the following filters:
