The Nortel Networks
router designed to provide access, traffic management, and accounting
information for over 1000 simultaneous IP sessions. Carrier Networking Services
is the software for the Versalar Switch Router 15000.
This guide describes the Versalar Switch Router 15000 system management
functions, including performance monitoring, troubleshooting, fault management,
accounting, and packet capture. Throughout this document, the Versalar Switch
Router 15000 is referred to as the "Versalar 15000."

Before You Begin

This guide is intended for network managers who are experienced in setting up
service provider networks. Before using this guide, you must complete the
following procedures. For a new Versalar 15000:

Make sure that you are running the latest version of Carrier Networking Services.
