cp - Copy a File

To make a copy of a file on the same volume or to another volume on the router,
use the command. You can use the wildcard characters ( and ? ) when issuing
cp *
the command to copy multiple files.

Caution: The system overwrites any file already on the volume that has the
same file name as the file you are creating. To avoid overwriting an existing
file, display the volume's contents to determine the file names that are already
in use.
To copy a file on the active volume, enter the following command:
cp <old_file> <new_file>
To copy a file to a different volume, enter the following command:
cp <vol> : <old_file> <vol> : <new_file>
vol:old_file is the slot number and name of the source file.
vol:new_file is the slot number and name of the target file.
