If the processor in slot 5 has a superset of the capabilities of the failed processor,
you can configure features previously unavailable on the failed processor. For
example, if a CAP-DS3/M13 card in slot 5 fails over to a CAP-DS3 card in slot 3,
you may be able to subsequently configure channelized (M13) interfaces on slot 3
(in reality served by slot 5). Doing so will produce an error when failback to the
CAP-DS3 card in slot 3 is initiated.
