Editing trap receivers

You can edit how machines will receive SNMP traps by editing the community
strings and the SNMP version format.
When Device Manager opens a device, it automatically adds the machine on
which it is running to the Trap Receivers list only if the
box on the Properties dialog box is checked.
Note:
of a trap receiver cannot be resolved to a DNS name. By default, Device Manager
attempts to resolve IP addresses to DNS names.
To edit how traps will be received:

From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Edit > Chassis.
