3-4. Adjusting the steering wheel and mirrors
Symptom
The image is difficult to
see.
The image is out of
alignment.
The display is dim and
is displayed.
goes off.
Likely cause
Foreign matters such as water
droplets or dust is on the camera
lens.
The luggage in the luggage com-
partment is reflected off the rear
window glass and obstructing the
camera.
The rear window glass is fogged
up.
The outside of the rear window
glass is dirty.
The inside of the rear window
glass is dirty.
The back door is not fully closed. Fully close the back door.
The camera or its surrounding
area has received a strong
impact.
The system may be malfunction-
ing.
Solution
Have the vehicle inspected by
your Lexus dealer.
 Change to optical mirror
mode.
 Move the luggage to a
position where it does not
obstruct the camera or
cover it with a black cloth to
reduce the amount it is
reflected off the rear win-
dow glass.
Change to optical mirror
mode.
After defogging the rear win-
dow using the rear window
defogger (P.386), use the
digital mirror mode again.
Use the rear window wiper to
remove dirt.
Have the vehicle inspected by
your Lexus dealer.
Change to optical mirror
mode and have the vehicle
inspected by your Lexus
dealer.
Change to optical mirror
mode and have the vehicle
inspected by your Lexus
dealer.
