12.3

Updating the Machine's Firmware

You can use a computer to update the machine's firmware (the software programmed into the
machine). To download the firmware updating tool, access the Konica Minolta web site in your
region, or contact your supplier.
For the firmware updating procedure, refer to the Readme file included with the firmware updating
tool. For the detailed firmware updating procedure, refer to the Firmware Update Guide.

Uninstalling Software for Windows

Software installed using [Printer Software] can be uninstalled from the computer by removing the
software individually.

Deleting the Print Driver

The print driver can be deleted from the [Devices and Printers] screen.
1.
Click on [Start] > [Windows System] > [Control Panel] > [View devices and printers].
2.
Right-click the printer icon of the driver to be deleted, and select [Remove device].
3.
Click [Yes] on the confirmation screen.
4.
After selecting any printer, select [Print server properties] to display [Print Server Properties].
([Print server properties] will not appear if a printer is not selected.)
5.
Select the [Drivers] tab, and click [Change Driver Settings].
6.
Select the driver to be deleted, and click [Remove].
7.
Select [Remove driver and driver package.], and click [OK].
8.
Click [Yes] on the confirmation screen.
9.
Click [Delete].
10.
Click [OK].
11.
Repeat steps 2 - 10 until the target printers are gone from the [Drivers] tab of [Print Server
Properties].

Restart the computer.
