The M control is a multi-function control.
Use the system presets to select the default action of the M control (cursor
on/off).
Cursor Off – Pressing the M control activates M-mode and displays the
Image task card on the image screen with the M-mode Parameter menu.
The system displays the M-mode sweep and the 2D image according to the
format selected in the Presets menu. Pressing the M control again exits
M-mode.
Cursor On – Pressing the M control displays the Image task card on the
image screen with the M-mode Parameter menu and an M-mode cursor for
positioning in the 2D image; pressing the control a second time activates
M-mode and displays the M-mode sweep and the 2D image according to
the format selected in the Presets menu. Pressing the M control again exits
M-mode.
Rotating the M control clockwise increases the M gain; rotating the control
counterclockwise decreases the gain. The gain value displays on the
M-mode Parameter menu next to the M status icon.
The M secondary mode control (outer ring) is reserved for future use.
During 3-Scape imaging and fourSight 4D imaging, rotating the M control
rotates all quadrants.
