Configuring Additional Storage
You can configure the system to store images to other destinations in
addition to the default location of the system's hard disk (Local Database).
These additional destinations are listed in the Store Server column of the
Configure Store tab accessed from the Print/Store system presets menu.
Use the system presets to configure the system to disable storage for a
selected Store Server destination or to enable storage of images to a
selected Store Server destination during or after the examination.
Note: When you configure additional storage, select a destination and timing (transfer
time) option for each type of data being stored (for example, images and clips).
To configure additional storage:
1. Press the Presets key located on the keyboard, or select the Presets
shortcut button at the bottom of the screen.
2. Select the Print/Store menu on the left of the screen.
3. Select the Configure Store tab.
The system lists all devices (destinations) that have been configured for
data transfer.
4. Select the required destination from the Store Server column and then
select the required timing option from the Auto Transfer drop-down
menu on the lower left of the Configure Store tab:
Disabled – System does not store images to the selected
–
Store Server destination.
–
End of Exam – System stores all images (that were saved during
the examination) to the selected Store Server destination when the
examination ends.
During Exam – System stores the image to the selected
–
Store Server destination (in addition to the default location of the
system's local database) when you press a PRINT/STORE key that
is configured for storage.
5. Select the Save button to save your settings.
