Controlling the Test Set with N5230C or N5242A
Sweep Setup for Multiport and Standalone Modes
When the test set is connected to the analyzer, it is recommended that the analyzer's
Sweep Setup be configured to Stepped Sweep before calibrating. This is slower than the
Analog Sweep, but is more accurate due to the extra electrical length of the test set and
test port cables. Only Stepped Sweep is available on all PNA models.
1. On the analyzer select STIMULAS > Sweep > Sweep Setup.
2. Select Stepped Sweep.
3. Set the Dwell Time to 5 μs > OK.
