In the main area of the home window, the status of the library and drive is displayed in
real time. For information about the meaning of each status name, see
Initializing
Idle
Moving
Checking Inventory
Front Door Opened
Offline
Error
Firmware Updating
Initializing
No Tape
Loading
Ready
Write Protected
Rewinding
Reading
Writing
Erasing
Locating
Unloading
Unloaded
Cleaning

Table 4.1 Library status
Indicates that the library is being initialized.
Indicates that the library has stopped normally.
Indicates that the robot is in operation.
Indicates that the library is taking inventory of the CAS or cells.
Indicates that the front door is open.
Indicates that the library is offline.
Indicates that an error occurred in the library. The error code is also
displayed.
Indicates that the firmware is being updated.

Indicates that initialization is under way after drive power-on.
Indicates that no cartridge is inserted.
Indicates that the drive is loading.
Indicates that the drive is read/write ready after completing loading.
Indicates that the loaded cartridge is write protected.
Indicates that the tape is being rewound.
Indicates that the tape is being read.
Indicates that the tape is being written to.
Indicates that the tape is being erased.
Indicates that the tape is being located.
Indicates that the drive is unloading.
Indicates that the unloading is completed.
Indicates that cleaning is under way after loading a cleaning cartridge.
Indicates that the drive requires cleaning.
Indicates that the drive requires cleaning.
