Drive status 2
Initializing Indicates that the drive is being initialized after power-on.
No Tape Indicates that no cartridge is loaded.
Loading Indicates that loading operation is under way.
Ready Indicates that loading has been completed and that the drive is
ready for processing.
Write Indicates that the loaded cartridges are write protected.
Protected
Rewinding Indicates that cartridges are being rewound.
Reading Indicates that cartridges are being read.
Writing Indicates that cartridges are being written to.
Erasing Indicates that cartridge contents are being deleted.
Locating Indicates that cartridges are being located.
Unloading Indicates that the unloading operation is under way.
Unloaded Indicates that the unloading operation is completed.
Cleaning Indicates that cleaning operation is under way.
Required Indicates that insertion of cleaning cartridge is required.
Clean
Need Clean Indicates that insertion of cleaning cartridge is required (Only the
cleaning cartridge can be inserted in the Need Clean status).
Error Indicates that a drive error occurred (The error code is also
indicated).
Indicates a failure of the cooling fan for the drive.
Media Error Indicates that the loaded cartridge has an error.
Updating Indicates that drive firmware is being updated.
No DRV or Indicates that no drive is installed or the power is off.
