Sonar Video

With connection of the FURUNO Scanning Sonar CSH-8L MARK-2, sonar images
can be displayed on this unit and shared with all the NavNet TZtouch2 and/or NavNet
TZtouch3 units in the same network.
Note: Connect the video encoder and this unit via LAN. For the settings of the video
encoder, refer to its instruction manual.
How to show the sonar video display
To show the sonar video display, go to the Home screen, tap [Settings]→[Camera],
then turn on [Use as Sonar Video Input] to activate the sonar video display. Tap the
sonar video icon to show the sonar video display.
Sonar video settings
Sonar video settings are available in the [VIDEO STREAMING] section in the [Cam-
era] menu.
[Nickname]: The default nickname is [SONAR], however you make change the name
to something that is more appropriate for you. The nickname can be a maximum of 20
characters. To change the nickname, tap [Nickname] to show the software keyboard.
Change the name, then tap []. The name appears at the bottom right corner of the
sonar video display.
[URL]: Enter the RTSP URL address (numerics*) that appears on the video encoder
status screen.
* Example: If the RTSP URL is rtsp://172.31.200.14/0, enter "172.31.200.14/0" (with-
out the quotation marks).
[Use as Sonar Video Input]: Turn on to input the sonar video.
