1. SYSTEM INTRODUCTION
Date/Nickname show the date/time and the nickname of your unit. The nickname can
be changed. Tap the nickname to show the software keyboard. Change the nickname.
See section 1.15 for how to use the keyboard.
The Sensor icons show the sensors connected in the system and their status, in the
following colors.
White: Sensor normal
Red: Sensor error
Gray: Sensor inactive (stopped)
The Functions section provides the features mentioned below. If the item is hidden,
drag up or down from [Settings]. ([MOB] is fixed.)
[MOB]: Enters a MOB mark (to mark man overboard location on the chart plotter and
radar displays). See section 1.18.
[Settings]: Menus (general, chart plotter, radar, fish finder, etc.) for customization of
the system. See section 1.15.
[Tide]: Opens the tide graph.
[Charts]: Displays a list of charts stored in this equipment.
[Lists]: Accesses the lists (points, routes, boundaries, catches, photos, AIS, DSC,
ARPA, Alarms).
[FAX30]*: Opens the FAX-30 operation screen.
[Fusion]*: Opens the FUSION operation screen.
[SiriusAudio]*: Opens the SiriusXM Audio control panel.
[eGuide]: Opens the abbreviated operator's manual. You can get the latest version of
the operator's manual by accessing the quick response code provided in the introduc-
tion section of the guide.
* Requires appropriate equipment. Not shown otherwise.
The Display icons select corresponding displays. See the next section for details.
How to reset the home screen
You can easily restore the default home screen. On the Home screen, [Settings]→[Ini-
tial Setup]→[Home Page]→[Factory Reset]. A message asks if you are sure to restore
the default home screen. Tap [OK].
