• Receive signal
• Transmit signal

If the computer is not fitted with a suitable serial line connector, use a USB to
serial converter. Several types are commercially available.

Ensure that the total length of the serial line cable does not exceed
approximately 50 meters.
If a longer cable is required, you may need to use buffer amplifiers on the
serial line.
Ethernet line
Locate the Ethernet port you wish to use.

If no Ethernet port is available, an Ethernet switch may be inserted between the
computer and the transceiver.
Connect an Ethernet cable from the EK15 computer to the peripheral system.

CAT-5.
