Transceiver Installation dialog box; Channel list
Purpose
The purpose of the channel list is to provide you with an overview of the frequency
channels currently available. If you have many transceivers connected you can change
the size of the dialog box, or you can use the two arrows on the right hand side of the
list to scroll up and down.

Type
This is the type of transceiver currently available on the network.
means Single Beam Transceiver.
SBT

Ethernet Address
This is the Ethernet address of the transceiver. This address is fixed, and it can
not be changed.

Transducer
This column holds the frequency and the transducer type connected.
The left spin-box is not used on the EK15, as only one frequency is available.
The right spin-box is used to select transducer. Since the EK15 uses a single beam
transceiver with only one frequency and only one transducer, this spin-box acts
like an "on/off" switch.
The EK15 is designed for operation with the dedicated transducer (labelled
). Other transducers may be used. Consult your dealer for more

information.

Status
The following status values are available in the
: The frequency channel is already in use, probably by another echo sounder
Busy
on the same network. You can not connect to this channel.
: This frequency channel is connected to your EK15 system.
Installed
: This frequency channel can not be used.
Lost
: This frequency channel is vacant and ready for use.
