Note
The grate can be switched via "Actuator test" in the
"Service" menu.

Lubricating the drive unit chains and bearings

Service the following moving parts:
Ash removal chain set
■
Feed sprocket set
■

Emissions test

After commissioning, an emissions test must be car-
ried out.
Preparation
■ Clean flue gas routes and chimney at least 3 days
before testing.
If the Lambda probe shows less than 20 % O
■
cold, clean the Lambda probe and calibrate.
■ Operate the boiler for at least 24 hours between
cleaning and testing.
■ Allow boiler to cool down before testing.
Test point
For the test point, observe the following:
Place measuring head centrally in flue pipe
■
■ Not directly next to the flue gas fan
■ Not upstream of a flue bend
■ If installed in the test route: Tightly close the chimney
damper/draught stabiliser.
Testing
For consistent test results, continuous heating opera-
tion is essential. Therefore avoid modulating heating
operation.
In test mode, the boiler heats with a consistent output
until the maximum boiler water temperature has been
reached.
1. Ensure heat transfer.
Avoid modulating heating operation.
2. Recommendation:
■ Start the boiler and heat for approx. 45 min
Boiler water temperature
■
3. In the standard menu: Enable "Test mode".
The display shows "Preparation". The boiler
heats until load operation.
"Test active" then appears as soon as constant
heating operation has been reached.

Note
Use commercially available lubricant.
Carry out repeat emissions tests in the manner descri-
bed.

Upstream of the test point: Distance to the boiler flue

outlet or last pipe bend: Twice the Ø of the flue pipe
■ Downstream of the test point: Stilling pipe (straight
pipe) with at least 1 - 2 times the Ø of the flue pipe
4. Carry out emissions test.
5. Select "Terminate".
Note
Test mode is automatically terminated when the
test duration has passed or the maximum tempera-
ture has been reached.
Boiler switches to control mode.
On the menu point "Test mode":

■ "Test duration": Set time and confirm with "OK".
Test duration then begins afresh. When the boiler
starts, the test duration is set to 60 min.
