Facing Warning (Ironworks Face Only)

Depending on the finish material being used, the Ironworks face may require the non-combustible facing
material to be held back 1" from both sides and 1/8" from the top of the fireplace opening (see illustration
below). When using THICK FACING (More than 1") failure to maintain this space will keep the backing
plate for the face from attaching to the appliance. This only applies to the Ironworks face.
