Cause
Action
Make sure you
dialled the correct
number. Try again
later.
Contact the other
party and have them
install paper in their
fax machine.
Register the speed
dialling button or
code.

Use regular dialling.
Change to a different
BJ cartridge type if
necessary. (1 p. 12-19)
Wait until the time
and receive mode
appear in the LCD
display, then begin.
Press the T button to
print the colour
document with the
optional BC-22e

cancel printing.
Make sure the BJ
cartridge is installed
correctly and that the
blue cartridge lock
lever is down.
